Iron Horse Central Railroad Museum Ride

Hi Group. This Saturday, 8/22 we will ride to the Iron Horse Central Railroad Museum.

Here are the details:

Saturday, 8/22 - 10:15 meet at the WBL campus
10:30 kick stands up
12:00 arrive at the train museum, ride the 1 1/2 mile track on the Bumblebee Train, tour the other train cars and eat a picnic lunch.
2:00 take off for home as a group or on your own
There is a wedding there that day at 4:00. We thought it was appropriate as it's Ken and Shanon's anniversary!

What to bring:
Your own picnic lunch and beverage (there is no food at the site)
$7 for admission

Stone Barn Pizza Ride

Hi All.
Tom and Tamara are putting together a ride to Stone Barn Pizza outside of Nelson WI. The pizza is gourmet, with the herbs grown on site, and the view is peaceful and serene. We would love it if you could join us. Please RSVP to tamara-carlson@hotmail.com by Thursday 5/29/09 so we can make reservations.

Eat a big breakfast as we won't be eating lunch until 4:00. There will be a gas break where you can buy a snack and drink along the way, but the pizza joint doesn't open until 4:00 and it's worth the wait.

10:45 - Meet at the McDonalds in Hudson WI
11:00 - Kick stands up
1:30 - Pepin area, gas and beverage break
3:30 - Alma Overlook
4:00 - Stone Barn Pizza
5:30 - I-35 all the way home About 287 miles round trip from the Hugo area back home.
